If you are planning to install halo headlights, that would be great! However, it can be a bit tricky to install, especially if you’ve never done it before.

That’s why we’re here! If you’re wondering how to install halo headlights, you’ve come to the right place – just keep reading our easy guide and you’re sure to get started in no time. This is how to install headlights.

Getting ready.
Before you start, make sure you’re prepared. Put on protective gloves and goggles, grab a mat to lay on the floor, and test your headlights before you begin your DIY headlight installation. You may also want to bring an extra pair of hands.

It’s also important for your safety not to touch the bulbs or wires until everything has cooled down, and to make sure you don’t get oil on the bulbs.

Have tools ready.
You don’t need a lot of tools, but make sure you have the ones you need. Have diagonal cutters, extensions, ratchets, combination wrenches, sockets, flatheads, and Phillips screwdrivers on hand.

Begin disassembly
First, you’ll need to remove the front bumper, where another screwdriver may come in handy. Then, you should remove the connectors on the headlight assembly before removing the harness clips and mounting bolts.

From here, you can remove the bolts from the corner upper beams and the headlight itself.

Connecting the Wires
Once you’ve completed the steps above, you can begin connecting the halo wires to the LED wires.

First, connect the black wire to the ground wire of the running light, then do the same with the white and positive wires. Be careful not to damage the resistors when performing this step!

Finishing the job
If you are wondering how to replace your car’s headlights, then your work ends here. From now on, all you need to do is replace the connector on the headlight and then install the mounting bolts and headlight. Finally, you’ll be ready to install the front bumper again – and that’s it.

Why not add some other accessories to your installation? For example, these truck accessories are worth a look.

Are Professionals Worth It?
Perhaps you’re considering going to a professional rather than doing it yourself. If you’re not confident in DIY, it may be your decision – the decision is yours.

While it may be more expensive than doing it yourself, there’s no harm in going to a professional if you feel you’re getting your money’s worth!
